Food Ministry approves 380 pvt orgs to import 10 lakh ton rice

The Food Ministry has given approval to 380 private organisations to import 10 lakh tons of rice.
Till yesterday (July 20, 2022), about 3,650 ton rice imported by private organisations reached Bangladesh, Public Relations Officer of Food Ministry, Kamal Hossain, confirmed.
So far letter of credit (LC) was opened for 3,95,360 ton rice, he said.
