Dhaka University has decided to include a special quota for trans gender students in the undergraduate programmes.

The government has cancelled the Junior School Certificate and equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate examinations from this year as those will not be held under the new curriculum.

From now on, there will be no Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations.
