Independent researchers have linked AI agents they believe were developed by OpenAI to a May attack on RubyGems, a platform for distributing Ruby software packages.

Known as agentic AI, these systems are designed not only to generate responses but also to plan, make decisions and execute actions across multiple software applications. A small but growing number of Bangladeshi companies are beginning to develop products based on the technology.
