Recently, the characters from OTT shows, Allen Swapan from “Syndicate”, and its spin-off “Myself Allen Swapan”, and OC Harun from “Mohanagar” has been actively interacting with fans on the social media prior to the release of these shows.

In what is considered to be a unique way to promote a web series, a Facebook account named Allen Swapan has started to send friend requests to netizens.

Due to the craze around Allen's character, a spin-off series titled "Myself Allen Swapan" directed by Shihab Shaheen has been made. Finally, the series will be releasing this upcoming Eid on Chorki.
