To promote job-oriented education in Bangladesh, the government has decided to recruit for some 12,600 posts across technical colleges and polytechnics over three fiscals.

The United Nations stands ready to work with the new government of Bangladesh and other national stakeholders to further efforts towards a peaceful and inclusive society, good governance and the rule of law in line with the 2030 agenda and SDG 16.

The government has reshuffled 35 senior bureaucrats in the civil administration including Bangladesh Chemical Industries Cooperation Chairman Mohammad Iqbal.
