Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) is reducing the prices of all types of internet by 10%. The decision was taken at the company's board meeting yesterday. As a result, companies will reduce their costs in both mobile internet and broadband services.

Internet users of some parts of Bangladesh have been facing slow services due to a maintenance work in the primary submarine cable under the Bay of Bengal.

The government is set to commercially inaugurate the second submarine cable, which has a capacity of 1500 Gigabits per second (Gbps) bandwidth, on Sunday.
