Pixar has confirmed that “Coco 2” is in development, with a theatrical release set for 2029. The announcement was made by Disney CEO Bob Iger during the company’s annual shareholder meeting.

"Nothing is more important to this company than its relationships with the creative," Iger said on a call discussing Disney's quarterly results on Wednesday.
