Bangladesh Women's Football League champions Rajshahi Stars FC began their continental campaign with a heavy defeat, going down 4-0 to neighbouring East Bengal FC in their Group A opener in the preliminary stage of the AFC Women's Champions League in Malaysia on Monday.

Bangladesh forward Sanjida Akhter made her debut in the Indian Women’s League for East Bengal FC in a match against Odisha FC on Tuesday.
