Bangladesh CNG Filling Station and Conversion Workshop Owners Association demand reduction of CNG price “to protect the CNG sector” while the government cuts down fuel prices.

Transport fares will be reduced by 1 paisa per kilometre if the government brings down fuel prices by Tk 1 per litre, road transport and bridges minister says.

Prices of fuel, particularly furnace oil is slated to be cut by Tk15 – 16 per litre within a week whereas other types including octane and diesel prices would be cut within a few months as per a government decision.
