Police Headquarters says 13,679 missing children were rescued or returned to their families

A nine-year-old boy with special needs was rescued in the capital’s Mirpur last Sunday after a local pharmacy employee recognised him from a missing child alert on Facebook, a Meta platform.

Rapid Action Battalion Director General Benazir Ahmed asks parents to inform law enforcement agencies if any of their children goes missing.

Bodies of four children are found from Bahubal upazila of Habiganj, five days after they went missing.
