Quota decisions must be uniform across all public universities

The university must expedite its admission process

From the next academic year, all public universities have to enrol students through a single admission test and the government will set up a separate authority to hold that exam.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said that age barrier and time limit should be removed for admission to public universities. 

It has been seven years since a decision was taken to introduce a uniform admission test system for public universities.
