Four int’l expos on construction, solar to begin in Dhaka tomorrow

Several international trade shows on building and construction, wood and woodworking, interior and exterior solutions, and solar products will be held from September 17 to 19 at the Expo Village of International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.

The events include the 10th edition of Bangladesh BUILDCON 2026, BEST CNC Router Presents 10th Bangladesh WOOD International Expo 2026, INTERIOR & EXTERIOR Expo and SOLAR BANGLA Renewable Energy Expo.

Giasuddin Haider, director general of the Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI), Dhaka, and additional chief engineer of the Public Works Department, is expected to inaugurate the trade shows as the chief guest at 3pm on September 17.

The expos will remain open to business visitors from 11am to 7pm on all three days.

Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, managing director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, disclosed the details at a press conference, according to a press release.

“Stakeholders from the building and construction industry, wood and woodworking industry, interior and exterior sectors, and users of solar solutions can visit this premier platform for innovation, networking and business opportunities,” he said.

The event will showcase construction and building materials, interior solutions, solar products, woodworking machinery and furniture supplies.

ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade & Events Pvt Ltd are jointly organising the expos, with Interior Design Bangladesh (IDB) as the knowledge partner.

The organisers said the exhibitions will provide stakeholders with access to technologies aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency and promoting environmentally friendly practices.

The furniture sector, which has many unorganised players, will also have opportunities to explore modern technologies and solutions for improving products and scaling up production.
