The language of heritage found a contemporary visual form at Desh Art Gallery on Friday (June 26) evening as “Petals of Time”, a group art exhibition centred on art, memory, and cultural inheritance, opened at the gallery’s premises in Baridhara Diplomatic Zone.

Eminent artist and cultural personality Mustafa Monwar has passed away at the age of 90 due to age-related complications. The legendary figure breathed his last at around 8:30am today while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Padatik Natya Sangsad will host the annual Syed Badruddin Hossain Memorial Theatre Festival and Award Ceremony from June 25 to 30 in memory of late theatre personality, language movement activist, educator and lifelong Padatik president Syed Badruddin Hossain.
