ASIAN TV logo revealed
The newest addition to local satellite channels -- Asian TV -- revealed its logo and slogan “Your Channel” at an elaborate gala event at the Ball Room of Hotel Sonargaon, in Dhaka on June 20.
A host of stars performed to make the programme a success, with Shakib Khan, Apu Bishwash, Mousumi, Ferdous, Amin Khan, Ilias Kanchon, Diti, Sadiya Islam Mou, Faria, Biddya Sinha Mim, Shokh, Niloy, Sarika, Nirob, Mehzabien and many others appearing on stage.
The event began with a bang as internationally acclaimed singer Runa Laila came on stage with Asian TV's theme song, “Elo Praner Protichchhobi”, composed by journalist Mahmud Manzur. Agriculture Minister Motia Chowdhury addressed the programme as the chief guest, which was followed by speeches from Commerce Minister GM Quader; Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Faruk Khan; Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad; Information Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamun etc.
Asian TV chairman Mohammad Harun-ur-Rashid and managing director Mohammad Mizanur Rahman also delivered speeches on the occasion. The event, hosted by Nawshin and Debashish Bishwash, ended with a musical performance by Mila.
