Two people on a motorcycle were killed and three others injured when a bus ran them over in the Pulerhat area of Jashore yesterday.

The deceased is Mehedi Hasan, of Shimlapalli area. He was a diploma engineering (electrical) student at Jamalpur Jasim Uddin Technical College

College student Tasnia Islam Prema, who was severely injured in a road accident on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway in Chattogram’s Lohagara upazila, is battling for her life in the intensive care unit of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
