Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested a Hefajat-e-Islam leader from his village home in Manikganj early today.
The arrestee Khaled Saifullah Ayubi is the joint secretary general of Hefajat's central committee, a Hefajat leader said.

A team of Rab arrested Saifullah, an accused in a case filed with Paltan Police Station following recent violence in March this year, from Singair Upazila, Commander Khandaker Al Moin, Rab's Legal and Media Wing director, told The Daily Star.
With him, at least 13 top leaders of the Islamist group have been arrested in recent times.
