Bengal Commercial Bank approves 4.5% dividend for 2025
Bengal Commercial Bank has approved a 4.5 percent dividend, including a 2.5 percent cash dividend, for the year that ended on December 31, 2025.
The approval was given at the bank’s 6th annual general meeting (AGM) held recently at Sheraton Dhaka in Banani, according to a press release. Md Jashim Uddin, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting. Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir, vice-chairman of the bank, attended along with other directors and sponsor shareholders.
A large number of the shareholders joined the AGM from across the country. They approved the bank’s financial statements, audited balance sheet, and profit and loss accounts for 2025 at the AGM. KM Awlad Hossain, managing director of the bank, and Nasim Sekander, additional managing director and chief business officer, along with deputy managing directors and senior officials, were also present.
