NRB Bank holds year-to-date business review meeting

NRB Bank PLC yesterday held the “Year-to-Date Business Review Meeting 2026” at a hotel in Dhaka.

Iqbal Ahmed OBE, founder and chairman of the bank, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest, according to a press release.

The meeting reviewed the bank’s year-to-date performance and adopted necessary strategies and action plans to achieve its targets for 2026.

Tarek Reaz Khan, managing director and CEO of the bank, presided over the meeting.

Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, chairman of the executive committee; Minhaz Shahid, chairman of the audit committee; Shaikh Md Salim, chairman of the risk management committee; and Ferdous Ara Begum, Prof Sharif Nurul Ahkam and SK Matiur Rahman, independent directors, attended the meeting.

Anwar Uddin and Kimiwa Saddat, additional managing directors, and M Rashidul Huda, deputy managing director, along with members of the senior management team, managers of all branches and sub-branches, and heads of divisions and departments, were also present.
