Trust Bank opens new branch in Pekua, Cox’s Bazar
Trust Bank PLC recently launched a new branch in Pekua upazila of Cox’s Bazar, further expanding its banking network and strengthening its presence in the region.
Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, according to a press release.
The newly launched branch will provide a comprehensive range of modern banking products and services to individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs and other customers in Pekua and the surrounding areas.
The branch is expected to facilitate greater access to formal banking services, support local businesses and entrepreneurs, and contribute to economic activities and financial inclusion in the region. With the inauguration of the Pekua branch, Trust Bank PLC continues its commitment to expanding accessible, customer-focused and technology-enabled banking services across Bangladesh, the release added.
Md Kamal Hossain Sarker, deputy managing director and head of the Islamic Banking Division; Md Mahboob Hossain, senior executive vice-president and head of the Business Division; and Brig Gen (retd) Md Mamun-or-Rashid, senior executive vice-president and head of GSSD, were also present at the inaugural ceremony, along with branch managers and other senior officials of the bank, representatives of the Bangladesh Navy, local businesspeople, dignitaries, customers and guests.
