HSBC extends exporter awards nomination deadline
HSBC Bangladesh has extended the nomination deadline for the HSBC Export Excellence Awards 2026 by four days to September 24 to accommodate more submissions.
The awards recognise Bangladeshi exporters for their contribution to sustainable economic growth, according to a press release.
Exporters can nominate themselves or other enterprises for the title of ‘Exporter of the Year’ in four categories. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Commerce and the British High Commission, Dhaka. Ernst & Young will serve as the technical partner and conduct the audit.
A jury comprising senior HSBC management, commerce ministry officials and representatives of the British High Commission will select the winners based on factors including contribution to national exports and the economy, diversity, responsibility, sustainable business practices, governance and regulatory compliance.
The programme is open to all enterprises and entrepreneurs operating in Bangladesh, regardless of whether they are HSBC customers. There is no entry fee or financial prize.
