Skitto partners with IDP Education to make studying abroad more affordable
Grameenphone’s digital-only brand skitto has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IDP Education Bangladesh Private Ltd to make studying abroad more affordable for young Bangladeshis.
Mohammad Salahuddin Kabir, head of skitto, and BM Mahbubul Alam Razib, country director of IDP Education Bangladesh Private Ltd, signed the MoU at GP House in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.
Under the partnership, skitto users across the country will get access to a range of benefits designed to support their study-abroad journey.
These include free IELTS Masterclass sessions to help students prepare for one of the most widely required English proficiency tests for overseas admissions, exclusive access to IDP’s study-abroad privilege card, and a Tk 1,000 discount on IELTS registration at any IDP office nationwide — a benefit reserved exclusively for skitto users.
The offer is applicable to all skitto customers, reflecting both organisations’ shared goal of removing financial and informational barriers for students planning to pursue higher education overseas.
Among others, Shamanta Akter, partnership and innovation lead of skitto; Nujhat Jannatun Naeem, head of brand and engagement; Md Rezaul Karim, head of product and analytics; Mohammed Soaib Ansar, head of sales and customer service; and Momenur Rahman Moyen, strategic alliance manager of IDP Education Bangladesh, were also present at the signing ceremony.
