Commercial Bank of Ceylon clients to get healthcare benefits from Ascent

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (CBC) Bangladesh Operations has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ascent Health Ltd, a Dhaka-based diagnostic centre, to provide healthcare benefits to CBC Visa cardholders and the bank’s employees.

Haily Algewatte, deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer of the bank, and Anwarul Iqbal, chief executive officer of the diagnostic centre, signed the MoU at a ceremony held in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Under the MoU, CBC Visa cardholders will enjoy a 25 percent discount on pathology tests and discounts of up to 50 percent on health check-up packages at Ascent Health Ltd.

Ronald Micky Gomes, chief operating officer of the diagnostic centre, and Md Abdus Sukook, deputy manager of the digital banking and card centre of the bank, along with other senior officials from both companies, were also present at the signing ceremony.
