Community Bank celebrates 7th anniversary

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC celebrated its 7th anniversary with a renewed commitment to reaching new heights through transformation, growth and sustainability, according to a press release.

Md Ali Hossain Fakir, inspector general of police and chairman of the bank, inaugurated the celebrations at the Police Headquarters in Dhaka recently. At the event, Ali said the trust and capabilities that Community Bank had built over the past seven years were a matter of great pride.

“We look forward to the bank playing an even more important role in the country’s economic progress by ensuring more modern, customer-friendly and sustainable banking services in the future,” he said.

Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, managing director of the bank, said the bank’s commitment was to become stronger and reach new heights through transformation, growth and sustainability. “In its seven years of operation, Community Bank has built a strong foundation. This achievement is an inspiration for our future journey,” he said.

He said the bank would continue improving technology, innovation and service quality in line with changes in the banking sector while giving the highest priority to customers’ trust and expectations. “At the same time, we must further strengthen our contribution to the country’s economic progress through responsible and sustainable banking,” he added.

Md Akram Hossain, additional IGP (finance) of Bangladesh Police; Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, additional IG and rector of Police Staff College; Md Kamrul Ahsan, deputy inspector general (confidential); and other senior officials of Bangladesh Police and Community Bank, were also present at the event.
