IFIC Bank cardholders to enjoy discount, EMI facility on Novoair flights

IFIC Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Novoair, a private airline in Bangladesh, to provide discount benefits and equated monthly installment (EMI) facility to the bank’s cardholders.

Helal Ahmed, chief of branch business at the bank, and Sohail Majid, director of marketing and sales at the airline, signed the MoU at the bank’s head office in Dhaka on Wednesday, according to a press release.

Under the MoU, all IFIC Bank debit and credit cardholders will receive a 10 percent discount on tickets for any domestic Novoair flight until December 31, 2026.

In addition, IFIC Bank credit cardholders will be able to avail themselves of a zero percent EMI facility for three and six months when purchasing Novoair air tickets and travel packages.

IFIC Bank continues to introduce customer benefits through strategic partnerships with various organisations, aiming to make customers’ journeys more affordable, convenient and rewarding, the release added.

Through such initiatives, the bank remains committed to enhancing customer experience and delivering greater value through its card services.

Sheikh Akhtar Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing director and chief credit officer of the bank; Mohammad Shahin Uddin, head of treasury; and senior officials from both organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.
