Salman Muqtadir’s studio vandalised

Content creator Salman Muqtadir’s studio in the capital’s ECB Chattar area was vandalised by miscreants over an alleged extortion dispute, claims the content creator.

According to Salman, the incident took place around midnight on Saturday at New Gini Properties. He later shared a video of the damaged studio on his verified Facebook page.

In the video, Salman showed the extent of the damage, with chairs, tables, televisions and other furniture and equipment appearing to have been vandalised. Several studio employees were also seen crying.

“There was an attack here a little while ago, our entire studio has been destroyed in this attack,” Salman said in the video.

Addressing Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, he added, “This video has been made especially for our Home Minister, Salahuddin Ahmed. Please do not take any tension, this is normal in Bangladesh.”

Salman later alleged that the attackers may have been targeting the property’s landowner, and he may have been facing extortion demands.

“They may have demanded extortion money or something… So, our people got stuck in the middle as part of their revenge. While trying to damage his property, my property got damaged,” he said.

Despite the damage, Salman said he would continue working and vowed to return with something bigger.

“I will do something bigger than this,” he said.
