Health centre attacked at midnight in Mirpur

A group of attackers forcibly entered the Radda MCH-FP Centre in Mirpur-1 and used an excavator and other machinery to dismantle at least three structures early yesterday.

According to facility officials and locals, around 200 people, many wearing masks, took part in the vandalism.

The officials alleged that the attackers looted valuable medical equipment, medicines, vaccines, cash, and other items from the centre.

Facility staffers yesterday held a human chain on the centre premises, demanding punishment of the perpetrators.
